Beavers are for Boys and Girls in the 6-8 range. The Riverbank Colony meets from 6pm to 7pm on a Thursday and the Woodland Colony meets from 5pm to 6pm on Fridays.

Woodland Colony Litter Picking 2015

On Friday 27th March 2015 we went litter picking in Greenwood Park. This activity was to help us to earn our Global Challenge badge.

24 Beavers and adult helpers rummaged in bushes for 40 minutes and were surprised in such a short space of time, we managed to collect 10 bags of litter!

What surprised us most was that there are loads of bins at Greenwood Park, so why do people just throw their rubbish on the ground?
